Something Different Is Coming to Flower Mound This September
For the first time, the Cross Timbers Rotary Duck Derby is welcoming a curated display of exotic and ultra-high-end vehicles as part of the 2026 event. This is not a car show open to the public. It is a small, invitation-only gathering of 35 exceptional vehicles, displayed alongside one of Denton County’s most beloved community events and attended by thousands of local families, business owners and community leaders.
If you own something genuinely special and want to be part of an event that actually matters, this is for you.
What to Expect
The Duck Derby draws over 3,000 attendees to The River Walk in Flower Mound every year. It is a family event with music, food trucks and a genuine community atmosphere, organized by Cross Timbers Rotary to raise funds for more than 25 Denton County charitable organizations. Your car will be seen by an engaged, enthusiastic crowd that will absolutely appreciate what you brought. More importantly, you will be part of something bigger than the cars themselves.
Spots are limited to 35 vehicles. Every car and every owner is personally vetted. We are looking for owners who want to participate in the event, enjoy the day, support the community and represent the kind of person this event is built for.
Priority Invitations
Spots are allocated on a priority basis. Owners who choose to sponsor the Duck Derby receive first access to the display. Sponsorship directly funds Denton County nonprofits working in areas like children and youth, health and wellness, food security and family support. It is a meaningful way to be part of the event beyond just parking a beautiful car.
After sponsor spots are filled, remaining spaces are offered to Rotary International members and then to others by invitation.

Important Notice to All Participants
By submitting a request to participate in the Duck Derby Exotic Car Display, you acknowledge that this is a family community event held in a public space. All vehicles must be driven to and from the event in a safe, responsible and respectful manner at all times. Revving engines, aggressive acceleration, excessive noise or any behavior that could disturb attendees, residents or the surrounding area is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the event without refund of any sponsorship contribution.
Participation in the display is at the sole discretion of the event organizers, and an invitation may be revoked at any time. North Texas Exotics, Cross Timbers Rotary and Rhythms at the River Walk assume no liability for any damage, loss, theft or injury related to your vehicle or your participation in the event. Vehicle owners participate entirely at their own risk and are solely responsible for their vehicle and any associated liability during transport to, from and during the event.
